Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all import/export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, logistic agents, and customs brokers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including customs declarations, shipping documents, and other regulatory paperwork.
• Implement and monitor processes to ensure compliance with INCOTERMS and international trade standards.
• Address and resolve any issues or delays related to shipments, logistics, or customs.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates on shipment statuses and resolve queries.
• Manage budgets and negotiate rates with logistics providers to optimize costs.
• Monitor and analyze logistics operations to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.

Requirements:

• Residency: Based in Dubai (for UAE region candidates only).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years as an Import/Export Manager in the UAE is mandatory.
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Language: Professional-level proficiency in English (native or near-native).
• Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with INCOTERMS and international trade laws.
  • Strong understanding of customs clearance processes and regulations in the UAE.
• Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
