Pentair Industrial Solutions business unit is experiencing significant growth. One of Pentair’s strategic growth pillars is the Biogas area. The projects will be engineered and produced at our Pentair sites or at an approved supplier. Pentair - Sustainable Gas Solutions (SGS) is specialized within CO₂ recovery solutions and Biogas upgrading solution. Import/Export Coordinator

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION

The Shipping Import/Export Coordinator is responsible for, preparing and requesting Shipping / Transport quotations and arrangements of all transports and associated papers. Import/Export worldwide for the projects in an efficient and effective manner to realize turnover and profit and to keep the customer satisfied.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Packaging, Transport costs and budget (Pre-Calculation)

Communicates with the Back Office and Sales Managers about the shipments of equipment and special transports to be arranged for the projects to end customers worldwide from Pentair Haffmans and / or from supplier. Also requests and assesses the quotes for these transports and will provide input to the budget before firm quotation of project to customers. Sign of estimated transportation costs. Negotiate transport prices with our forwarders to get best possible solution in relation to lead time and cost. Transport planning and coordination (according to EXW), container layout and planned shipments (from/to).

• Projects execution and Transport Management

Communicates with the Project Managers, customer and suppliers about the shipments to be arranged for the projects to end customers worldwide from Pentair Haffmans and / or from supplier. Also requests and assesses the quotes for these transports and will place an order in consultation with Project Managers and Purchasing.

Communicates with the end customer about the documents required to ensure successful import and provide these documents. Advising role/Instructor role within the Shipping team in regards of Import, Export and Dangerous Goods and all its handling.

Contact takes place at/with

• Production Coordinator, Logistic Coordinator and Planning department to coordinate Transports.
• Project Managers about the upcoming transports and shipping plan for the projects and the relevant orders.
• Warehouse systems department about material supply and logistics.
• Transporters about the order processing with the result of arranging the transport to the customer of project equipment (and Turnkey materials) also arranging the handling of any additional required documents.
• Suppliers for requesting rates for transport / packaging / storage of projects and arranging and coordinating the desired delivery / transit times.
• Advising purchasing on outsourcing transport related to projects.

QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCES

• High school/ Technical degree
• training / work experience towards Logistics and Import/Export worldwide (of all types of transport: Air, train, and sea).
• At least 5 years of experience in the field of Transportation/Shipping and Import/Export.
• Basic computer skills (MS-Office and preferable ERP / SAP).
• English (good speaking and writing skills)
• Communicative skills, analytical thinking, setting priorities, working in a constructed way, stress resistant and thinking "out of the box" (since every project is treated differently).
• Being able to work across departments.
• Being able to intervene adequately in the event of problems occurring.
