Import/Export Controller Freight Operations (Sea, Air, Road)

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Import/Export Controller to join a busy freight environment in Bedfordview. If you have 3-5 years of multi-modal freight experience and proficiency in ShipShape software, this role could be your next career move.

In this role, you will:

• Book and manage shipments with shipping lines, transporters, and online platforms.
• Handle all required documentation including bills of lading, CNC certificates, and BV inspections.
• Complete customs clearing and entries using Portnet and related systems.
• Liaise directly with clients, customs authorities, and transport providers to ensure smooth operations.
• Process invoicing and maintain compliance with Incoterms and freight procedures.
• Use ShipShape software to manage freight tracking, documentation, and operational control.

We are seeking someone who is:

• 3-5 years experience in a similar role
• Is experienced in import/export processes across sea, air, and road freight.
• Understands customs clearance and has strong documentation skills.
• Is a team player with excellent communication skills and a problem-solving mindset.
