Import Sea Freight Clerk

Your Responsibilities

Leading Freight Forwarder / NVOCC/ Customs House Broker/ Tank Container Operator, with locations in 24 countries and over 3000 employees strong, is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to fill the position of Import Sea Freight

This is a position based in Veracruz, Mexico that will primarily support the U.S. team. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to participate in the continued growth and expansion of a well-respected organization.

The ideal candidate is a strong in freight forwarding and customs processing experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction

What You’ll Do

• Freight billing
• Follow-up of routing orders with agents and customers
• Receiving and analyzing shipping documents
• Elaborating and sending arrival notices to customers/customs brokers
• Tracking shipments with involved parties
• Managing data input in operational system ABS
• Filling out AMS system
• File closing
• Claim management
• Invoicing

Your Profile

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in freight forwarding, import or international logistics.
• Strong knowledge of import operations
• Excellent communication, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong customer-facing experience, with a proven ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, and deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
