JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics specialist to oversee the end-to-end import and export operations for our brands, including Prada, Miu Miu, and Church’s. This role is critical in ensuring that high-value cargo moves seamlessly across borders while maintaining strict compliance with international trade regulations.

The successful candidate will manage complex shipping schedules, coordinate with customs brokers, and maintain meticulous financial and operational records within a fast-paced, corporate environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operational Logistics & Coordination

  • Shipment Management: Oversee import/export schedules for luxury goods and NM cargo via air, ocean, and courier; specifically tracking DHL Express shipments.
  • Specialized Cargo: Manage logistics for high-value items (jewelry), trilateral trade, and duty-free cargo (IS/ISW/Export).
  • Network Communication: Act as the central point of contact for warehouses, retail stores, and internal departments to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve logistics issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Proactively manage and resolve shipping discrepancies, including damage, transit delays, and partial deliveries.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Regulatory Oversight: Verify import/export regulations and prepare specialized documentation, including CITES permits.
  • Customs Liaison: Partner with customs brokers to define HS codes and clarify raw material vs. finished product classifications.
  • TQ Management: Facilitate and manage TQ (Tax Quota/Technical Query) applications and compliance.

Data Management & Reporting

  • Financial Oversight: Process partner invoices, obtain freight quotes, and manage shipping data for monthly financial reporting and purchase requisitions.
  • Digital Administration: Maintain rigorous digital filing systems for all import/export documentation and update master Excel checklists.
  • Analysis: Generate detailed shipping analysis reports to support strategic decision-making.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Professional Experience: Proven experience in Import/Export logistics, preferably within the luxury retail or high-value goods sector.

Technical Proficiency: * Advanced MS Excel skills are mandatory (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Concatenate, IF functions).

  • Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
  • Comfortable working with digital filing systems and ERP environments.

Communication: Fluency in English (written and verbal) is essential for coordinating with international partners and stakeholders.

Soft Skills: Strong telephone etiquette, a collaborative mindset for assisting with miscellaneous tasks, and the ability to remain calm under pressure during troubleshooting.
