[Albemarle ] is hiring for a [ Import/Export Specialist ] This position is [hybrid and located in [Taipei], in-office and located in [Taiwan]]

What You Will Do

  • Manage end-to-end logistics operations in Taiwan, including daily execution, warehouse coordination, cost control, and issue resolution
  • Handle import/export shipments: coordinate with freight forwarders for booking, documentation, permit preparation, and on-time delivery
  • Collaborate with GTC to ensure compliance (HS code, import/export policy) and support customs audits
  • Work with plant team on shipment planning and dispatch arrangements
  • Manage logistics vendors, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous performance improvement
  • Support procurement on logistics sourcing, rate negotiation, and cost optimization
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and data transparency.
  • Oversee monthly freight settlement and cost analysis
  • Ensure proper documentation and act as the key logistics contact point in Taiwan

What You Bring

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • ≥5 years of logistics experience; DG handling is a must (chemical logistics preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of international trade and logistics operations
  • Experience in vendor management and cost control

Preferred:

  • Good analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, PPT, SAP and other reporting tools
  • Strong communication skills and fluent English
