Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

  • Receive, review, and process import documentation for assigned accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. Obtain and coordinate;
  • Customs clearance and any required releases from other governmental agencies, arranging final delivery and issuing invoices in accordance with Customer’s SOPs;
  • Monitor import transactions and promptly report any issues, deviations, or irregularities to supervisory personnel;
  • Provide timely and high-quality customer service by proactively updating clients on the status of their shipments;
  • Coordinate the release of cargo with carriers and manage Customs or other governmental inspections when required.
  • Monitor, organize, and control on-hand warehouse receipts to ensure visibility, accuracy, and operational efficiency throughout the import process;
  • Track, analyze, and maintain all relevant KPIs, ensuring performance targets and service levels are consistently met.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly and professionally to client needs and requests.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, including business, technical, and regulatory materials.
  • Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook.
  • Solid knowledge of international operations and freight/logistics optimization.
  • Strong planning, time management, collaboration, decision-making, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop, document, and maintain processes and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, interact with senior management, and manage conflict with
  • professionalism, flexibility, and a positive attitude.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelors Degree in International Business/Logistic or related field required;
  • Minimum 2 years related experience.
