What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire an Implementation Specialist within our Corporate Payments division. This position falls under our Corporate Payments line of business and is based in Brentwood, Tennessee, with an approximately 80% remote work arrangement and expected in-office presence on Wednesdays. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end implementation of new customer accounts, partnering across departments to deliver a seamless, accurate, and customer-focused onboarding experience. You will work closely with Sales, Implementation Project Managers, Technical Support, customers, and other internal teams.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Managing and maintaining customer accounts throughout the implementation process using Salesforce CRM and other internal systems
  • Reviewing and validating customer onboarding documentation to ensure all required information is complete, accurate, and sufficient to establish accounts within Comdata systems and applicable platforms
  • Leading consultative conversations with customers to understand business needs, gather required information, clarify account requirements, and establish an account structure aligned with operational goals
  • Utilizing macros, setup scripts, APIs, and other technology-enabled tools to efficiently create, configure, and update customer account information across multiple systems
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate customer implementation statuses, milestones, and related information to support reporting, workflow management, and account-progress visibility
  • Performing comprehensive quality assurance reviews of customer account setups to verify configurations, data, and requested services are accurate and complete prior to activation
  • Assessing customer training needs and developing and delivering appropriate training through webinars, virtual sessions, or on-demand resources
  • Collaborating with Sales, Implementation Project Managers, Technical Support, customers, and internal associates to coordinate implementation activities, resolve issues, communicate expectations, and deliver a seamless customer experience

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in business, communications, technology, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a professional work environment, with at least one year of experience in customer implementation, account management, client support, customer service, or another customer-facing role preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex products, services, processes, and system functionality to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish credibility, collaborate across departments, navigate challenging conversations, and remain professional in high-pressure situations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detail and sound judgment when balancing customer needs, business requirements, and implementation timelines
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple implementations, deadlines, meetings, calls, emails, and competing priorities without compromising accuracy or service quality
  • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency, including formulas, PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and macros.
  • Understanding of timely revenue ramp during implementation and the ability to identify opportunities that support customer adoption, product utilization, and account activation
  • High responsiveness and accountability, including consistent follow-through and effective use of tools to track appointments, tasks, deadlines, and implementation activities
