Job Description

Wipro is hiring an Implementation Consultant – Calculations to design, build and maintain automated benefit calculations within enterprise administration platforms. You'll turn scheme rules, legislation and actuarial requirements into precise, testable, automated logic.

Accuracy here isn't a KPI — it's the whole job.

This opportunity is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity based in UK, initially offered for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension.

What you'll do

• Implement and maintain automated benefit calculations for a wide range of scheme designs
• Build calculation logic for Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) arrangements, pension increases, equalised GMPs and valuations
• Translate scheme rules and legislative requirements into configured, automated outcomes
• Write, test and optimise T-SQL logic and calculation routines
• Configure supporting workflows, data screens, interfaces, payroll elements and reports
• Gather requirements, produce specifications and validate results with clients
• Test, reconcile and evidence calculation accuracy against expected outputs
• Support releases, upgrades, documentation and client training
• Manage multiple parallel calculation workstreams to deadline

• Pension calculations implementation
• Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC) calculations
• Configuring or developing pensions or financial services software
• T-SQL
• Microsoft SQL Server and SSMS
• XML
• High degree of numeracy
• Requirements gathering and specification writing
• Testing, reconciliation and results validation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent client communication and customer service
• Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel

Great to have

• UK pensions legislation and statutory requirements
• GMP equalisation, pension increases and valuations
• Pension administration systems experience
• PMI or other pensions professional qualifications
• Payroll and accounting systems
• Excel macros, VBA or other programming languages
• HTML, XSLT or content management systems
• Training needs analysis and client training delivery
• Agile delivery methodologies
