About the Role

Duncan & Ross is engaged by a leading golf and leisure operator in Saudi Arabia to source an experienced Lightspeed Golf Implementation Advisor for a high-priority technology deployment.

Saudi Arabia's golf sector is expanding rapidly under Vision 2030, with new courses, premium resorts, and private clubs being established across the Kingdom. Our client is deploying Lightspeed Golf as their enterprise club management platform and requires an experienced advisor to lead and de-risk the implementation — ensuring the system is configured correctly, staff are trained, and operations go live without disruption.

This is a hands-on advisory role requiring deep functional knowledge of the Lightspeed Golf platform, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate effectively within a Gulf region business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Implementation Leadership

• Lead end-to-end Lightspeed Golf implementation from scoping through to go-live and post-launch stabilisation
• Define the implementation roadmap, phasing plan, and milestone schedule in collaboration with the client's operations and IT teams
• Conduct current-state assessment of existing systems, workflows, and data to inform the migration and configuration approach
• Manage the relationship with Lightspeed and any third-party integration partners throughout the engagement

System Configuration & Integration

• Oversee and validate configuration of core modules including tee sheet management, POS, membership administration, F&B, events, and online booking
• Define and implement integrations with third-party systems — including accounting platforms, property management systems, marketing tools, and payment gateways
• Advise on dynamic pricing setup, reporting configuration, and Business Intelligence (BI) module deployment
• Ensure data migration from legacy systems is accurate, complete, and validated prior to go-live

Stakeholder Engagement & Training

• Act as the primary advisor to senior leadership and operations management on all Lightspeed implementation matters
• Facilitate workshops and process walkthroughs with department heads across golf operations, F&B, pro shop, events, and finance
• Design and deliver a structured training programme for front-line staff and system administrators
• Produce user guides, SOPs, and reference materials tailored to the client's operational context

Testing, Quality & Go-Live

• Develop a comprehensive UAT strategy covering all operational scenarios — tee time bookings, POS transactions, membership renewals, tournament management, and reporting
• Lead UAT execution with operational staff and manage defect tracking through to resolution
• Define go-live readiness criteria and sign off on system acceptance prior to launch
• Provide hypercare support during the post-go-live stabilisation period

Risk & Governance

• Proactively identify and manage implementation risks, dependencies, and blockers
• Maintain programme governance documentation including action logs, decision registers, and progress reports
• Ensure all configuration and process decisions are documented and approved before deployment

Candidate Requirements

Essential

• Proven track record delivering Lightspeed Golf (or Chronogolf) implementations in a lead advisory or project management capacity — this is non-negotiable
• Deep functional knowledge across the full module suite: tee sheet, POS, membership, F&B, events, online booking, marketing, and reporting
• Experience managing integrations between Lightspeed and third-party platforms
• Hands-on UAT design and execution experience within a structured implementation programme
• 7+ years of experience in golf technology, golf club operations, or hospitality technology consulting

Preferred

• Prior implementation experience in the GCC or broader Middle East region
• Experience working with premium golf clubs, resorts, or multi-course operators
• Exposure to Vision 2030-aligned leisure and tourism projects in Saudi Arabia
• Arabic language skills advantageous but not essential
