Job Title: Impact & Outcomes Coordinator

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer

The Coordinator for Organizational Impact is a strategic leader responsible for working to ensure that programs are high-quality, mission-driven, and consistently implemented across all sites. This role will work with the COO to oversee the development, evaluation, and continuous improvement of programs while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation. The coordinator will work collaboratively with colleagues to create systems to monitor program outcomes, ensure alignment with best practices, and support staff in delivering impactful experiences for the youth we serve. Additionally, the coordinator will work with COO to strategically map and track grants through the various programs and sites.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists in establishing and maintaining best practices in youth development, ensuring all programs meet high-quality standards.
  • Provides assistance in the design of services that are aligned with the overall goals and strategic goals of the organization.
  • Responsible for providing direct oversight of the Member Management, and Outcome Measurement Systems and Software(s) - ensures information and other data maintained on programs, membership, etc. are accurate and timely.
  • Works closely with the Resource Development team to ensure data collection for grant procurement and reporting.
  • Instrumental in assisting with implementing the BGCA NYOI Surveys and analyzing its findings to develop improvement plans.
  • Prepare and deliver qualitative, and quantitative, reports and presentations, as needed.
  • Accountable for planning, tracking, and reporting on assigned grants and reports.
  • Develop framework and tracking to ensure specific BGCA standards, grant requirements, and regulatory guidelines are met.
  • Work collaboratively with HR to recruit, onboard, train, and track organizations volunteers.
  • Provide the COO with support specifically related to calendar and schedule management, and information management.
  • Develop and/or deliver reports and/or presentations to the CEO, Board of Directors, and/or other stakeholders.
  • Support leadership staff in staff/volunteer training and development.
  • Collaborate with HR and leadership to implement employee recognition and retention.
  • As assigned, complete grant and program reports.
  • Administer surveys, focus groups, and other formal and informal feedback methods with staff, volunteers, members, parents, and families to gauge program satisfaction, attitudes, and impact.
  • Support Program Directors/Coordinators in achieving programmatic and strategic goals.
  • Support program showcases, special events, and presentations for parents, families, community members, and partners.
  • Explore and apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools that improve efficiency and strengthen the quality of Club programming.

Required

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience working in a youth servicing non-profit organization is preferred.
  • Experience developing, managing, and maintaining Microsoft Excel sheets for various applications.
  • Experience working with and demonstrating compassion and/or sensitivity toward vulnerable populations and individuals with diverse backgrounds present in the organization’s service population, both individually and in groups.
  • Problem Solving – Strives to understands contributing factors, works to resolve complex situations
  • Strong understanding of New Jersey’s Department of Children and Families licensing.
  • Experience working in a virtual environment, when required or needed.
  • Proficiency in the use of Windows, Internet, Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, Access or other database software proficiency), Zoom or other Virtual Meeting platforms, and Google Platform (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Self-starter that can list and prioritize projects and tasks to ensure deadlines and due dates are achieved.
  • Knowledge of marketing concepts, strategies, and practices.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Club staff, partners and stakeholders.
  • Proven strong commitment to continuous growth and learning.
  • Very organized and detail oriented along with the ability to manage their own time effectively.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure. v Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and meet eligibility requirements to drive a BGCLBC vehicle (if needed).
  • Candidates must be able to pass a drug test (random), criminal and driving records investigation.

Work Environment:

This position is performed in a traditional office environment and at Club/School sites and may require attendance at evening and weekend events.
