
HR Impact Coach
The HR Impact Coach is a District-wide Instructional Coaching role responsible for supporting the implementation of the Elevate 3-1-5 personalized learning model through instructional coaching, professional learning, onboarding, and staff development. Utilizing the Impact Cycle framework developed by Jim Knight, the HR Impact Coach partners with teachers to improve instructional practice, strengthen personalized learning implementation, accelerate student achievement, and cultivate a positive, high-performing school culture.
The HR Impact Coach serves as both an instructional coach and a staff development leader, ensuring that new and existing staff receive the support, coaching, and professional learning necessary to thrive in our schools.

Job Responsibilities
Instructional Coaching and Personalized Learning
Implement the Impact Cycle coaching model to support continuous teacher growth and student achievement.
Partner with teachers to identify goals, analyze student data, plan instruction, and monitor progress.
Model, co-plan, co-teach, observe, and provide feedback to teachers.
Support the implementation of personalized learning practices, including:
Student agency and ownership
Data-driven instruction
Flexible grouping
Competency-based learning
Technology-enhanced instruction
Facilitate reflective conversations that lead to measurable improvements in instructional practice.
Support teachers in creating cognitively engaging, standards-aligned learning experiences that foster student belonging and achievement.
Assist educators in using assessment data to personalize instruction and monitor growth.
Professional Learning and Capacity Building
Design and facilitate professional learning aligned to Elevate 3-1-5 and other district priorities.
Lead collaborative planning sessions, professional learning communities (PLCs), and instructional learning walks.
Support teachers in implementing district-adopted curricula and instructional frameworks.
Facilitate action planning and plan implementation based on classroom observations and student outcomes.
Build teacher leadership capacity and support emerging instructional leaders.
Support school leadership teams in implementing school improvement plans.
Assist in identifying barriers to student success and developing responsive strategies.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Foster positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community partners.
Support the implementation of initiatives designed to improve student engagement, attendance, and achievement.
Analyze instructional, assessment, attendance, and implementation data to inform coaching priorities.
Maintain coaching records and implementation progress monitoring tools.
Develop reports and recommendations related to coaching impact and staff development.
Use data to measure the effectiveness of professional learning, onboarding, and coaching efforts.
Serve as a champion for the mission, vision, and values of Elevate 3-1-5 and other district priorities
Onboarding and Orientation
Lead onboarding and orientation experiences for new staff
Coordinate onboarding activities school and district departments.
Monitor onboarding effectiveness through feedback, retention data, and performance indicators.
Ensure new staff understand the vision, expectations, instructional model, and culture of our schools.
Qualifications
Required
New York State teaching certification.
Minimum of ten years of successful teaching experience.
Demonstrated expertise in instructional best practices and student-centered learning.
Experience facilitating adult learning and professional development.
Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
Preferred
Experience as an instructional coach, mentor teacher or teacher leader
Experience implementing personalized learning models.
Knowledge of the Impact Cycle coaching framework.
Experience supporting school improvement initiatives in urban educational settings.
Bilingual abilities are preferred.
