Job Title: Assistant Consultant – Immunology
Location: Qassim, Saudi Arabia
Department: Internal Medicine – Immunology
Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity to join one of Saudi Arabias leading hospitals as an Assistant Consultant in Immunology. This role offers the chance to deliver comprehensive immunology care, supervise trainees, and contribute to teaching and research in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with autoimmune diseases, allergic disorders, and immune-mediated conditions.
Interpret laboratory investigations including immunoglobulin levels, autoantibody panels, complement studies, lymphocyte subsets, and molecular diagnostic tests.
Administer and monitor immunomodulatory therapies, biologics, and immunoglobulin replacement therapy.
Manage immunologic emergencies and complex multisystem immune disorders.
Provide consultations and collaborate across medical specialties including rheumatology, hematology, infectious diseases, and pediatrics.
Participate in academic teaching, research projects, and training programs.
Contribute to departmental committees, administrative functions, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
PhD or Board Certification in Clinical Immunology or related discipline (essential).
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent from an accredited institution (essential).
Valid registration as Specialist/Assistant Consultant with SCFHS.
Positive professional references.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English (essential).
Additional proficiency in Arabic preferred.
Skills:
Strong expertise in clinical immunology and immune-mediated disorders.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Computer proficiency (Level III preferred).
