The Immunization Provider Communications Coordinator supports the Education, Outreach, and Communications Unit of the North Carolina Immunization Branch by developing, maintaining, and disseminating communication materials that strengthen statewide immunization programs. The role promotes immunization awareness by building partnerships, collaborating with health care providers and public health staff, and engaging private and public stakeholders.
Work includes producing recurring presentations, newsletters, website updates, memos, press releases, and other communications related to immunization priorities and the Vaccines for Children program. The position advances provider‑facing and public‑facing outreach efforts that increase understanding of immunization needs across the lifespan. The role reports to the Education, Outreach, and Communications Unit Manager and contributes to consistent statewide messaging for immunization programs.
