Job Description

As the business continues to grow, our Immigration division is going from strength to strength. This position offers the opportunity to join a well-respected, award-winning immigration practice.

This role provides the opportunity to work within, and learn from, a busy team of experienced and knowledgeable professionals from a range of backgrounds, including law firms, global immigration consultancies, government bodies, and corporate environments.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career while managing client and government relationships, working with evolving immigration policies and practices, and delivering a high standard of service to clients.

Duties will include but will not be limited to:

  • Provide expertise on German Immigration laws
  • Manage all aspects of corporate immigration applications
  • Responsible for managing own casework, advice to clients and general service delivery
  • Remain abreast of all relevant rules, laws and best practice affecting the Company’s core activities
  • Actively participate in knowledge sharing within the Company
  • Ensure that all enquiries and service agreements are handled in line with agreed service standards
  • Manage client expectations
  • Participate in client meetings and training sessions
  • Participate in business development activities
  • Update company technology platforms in accordance with firm policies
  • Participate in global training programmes and any client-specific training
  • Perform administrative tasks as requested by the Team Leader/Manager, as needed
  • Participate in global or local ad-hoc projects
  • Carry out any other activities necessary to support the Company’s immigration practice in Germany

Person Specification (E = essential, D = desirable)

  • German and English: very good written and verbal communication skills – E
  • Very good MS Office and general computer proficiency – E
  • Strong service mentality – E
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience – E
  • 2 years of Immigration or Global Mobility Advisory experience – D
  • Proven ability to research, identify, analyse, and interpret information from a range of sources and develop appropriate solutions – E
