Job Description

A new generation lifestyle hospitality group is looking for Several years of hands-on experience in IT management for immersive experiences, live events, or similar fields, demonstrating a profound commitment to delivering exceptional and enchanting dining experiences through technology.

The role of an Immersive Dining IT Manager is pivotal in realizing the fusion of artistry and technology that defines immersive dining experiences. It demands a unique blend of technical prowess, creativity, and adaptability, ensuring that technology seamlessly harmonizes with the creative vision, delighting guests and leaving lasting impressions. 



OPERATIONS AND DUTIES:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the immersive dining experience during service hours.
  • Monitor the service via CCTV cameras from the IT room, ensuring all elements are on schedule and functioning smoothly.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to call cues for clearing plates, service timing, and addressing any other immediate needs.
  • Ensure that when a dish is called, the next sequence in the immersive experience is triggered seamlessly, maintaining perfect synchronization of content, music, and sound effects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Technical Setup and Maintenance:

Spearhead the setup and maintenance of all technical equipment, encompassing audiovisual systems, lighting, projection, and any other technology essential for immersive dining.

  • Network Management:

Establish and maintain a robust network infrastructure that enables real-time communication and synchronization of elements critical to the dining experience.

  • Content Management:

Curate and update multimedia content to align seamlessly with the immersive dining concept, ensuring visuals, sounds, and effects harmonize with the narrative.

  • Troubleshooting:

Be the first responder to technical issues, swiftly diagnosing and resolving glitches to minimize disruptions during performances.

  • Collaboration:

Foster a close collaboration with the creative team, gaining an intimate understanding of their vision and ensuring that technical requirements are met to bring it to life.

  • Security:

Institute and maintain robust security measures, safeguarding sensitive data and prioritizing the safety of guests and staff during each immersive dining event.

  • Equipment Procurement:

Identify, evaluate, and procure cutting-edge technology and equipment to enhance and elevate the immersive dining experience continually.

  • Training and Support:

Empower staff involved in the technical aspects of dining experiences through thorough training, ensuring they can confidently operate equipment and systems.

  • Budget Management:

Exercise financial acumen by developing and managing the IT budget, encompassing forecasting and cost control to optimize resources.

  • Technical Innovation:

Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends within immersive dining and entertainment, proactively seeking opportunities to enhance and innovate the guest experience.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees and certifications are advantageous.
  • A track record of successful management of technical aspects in live events, immersive experiences, or related productions.
  • Proficiency in a wide range of technical skills, encompassing audiovisual equipment, network administration, and multimedia content management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities, especially under pressure.
  • Superb communication and teamwork skills, enabling effective collaboration with creative and culinary teams.
  • Strong project management abilities to oversee technical elements across multiple immersive features.
  • Familiarity with safety and security protocols crucial in live event environments.
