About the role

Position: IMEX Terminal Coordinator

Location: Moorebank, NSW

Roster: 4 days on/4 days off rotating roster

Shift: 2-day shift roles available (6am-6pm)

The primary purpose of the Container Operations Coordinator is to monitor and coordinate the operational execution of reefer containers within the IMEX Terminal, whilst considering operational targets and observing commercial and safety factors.

What will your role at Qube look like?

  • Monitor & coordinate the execution of reefer containers to and from the reefer Bay inside the IMEX Terminal to support the scheduled plan
  • Monitor & capture live temperature readings and ensuring QUBE systems are updated.
  • Ensuring all planned outbound reefers are unplugged and ready for loading out
  • Ensuring all reefers that arrive at the Reefer Bay are plugged in and first reading captured.
  • Monitor & execute high wind stacking procedures during high wind events.
  • Rapidly resolve any issues that may arise within the operational execution
  • Support operations management to reach scheduled productivity targets.
  • Capture, collate and report key performance indicators.
  • Strict application and adherence to safety requirements as stipulated by Safe Operating Policies & Procedures and safety legislation.
  • Any other duties deemed reasonable by management.

About You

Essential:

  • 12 months or more operations experience.
  • 12 months or more experience within terminal operating systems.
  • Experience in working under a safe working environment.
  • Preferred:
  • Ability to work autonomously using proactive approach to task resolution
  • Work collaboratively and harmoniously as a part of a team
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to work in a demanding environment
  • Reliable, team player, with a can-do attitude
