In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of CT procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards. This position will cover inpatient and outpatient CT services.
This is a full-time position, located at NYP/Brooklyn Methodist, working an alternating schedule:
Week 1:
Sunday 3:30pm -11:30pm
Tuesday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Wednesday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Thursday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Week 2:
Monday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Tuesday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Thursday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday 12:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday 3:30pm - 11:30pm
Preferred Criteria:
N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
ARRT Advanced Modality certification (CT)
At least 1 year of experience
Required Criteria:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
Salary Range:
$57.45 - $68.35/Hourly
