Salary Range: $36.00 – $44.00 per hour based on experience
Rural Staffing Services is partnering with a respected rural healthcare organization in beautiful south-central Washington to recruit a skilled Imaging Technologist to join their Diagnostic Imaging team.
This is a meaningful role for a technologist who enjoys practicing broad, hands-on imaging in a community where their work truly matters. In rural healthcare, every image helps guide critical decisions for neighbors, families, and friends.
The Imaging Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures that support the treatment and diagnosis of injury and disease. Working closely with physicians and clinical teams, this role helps ensure accurate imaging, patient safety, and compassionate care across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
The technologist operates a range of imaging equipment and plays a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic studies while creating a comfortable experience for patients.
Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures based on physician orders
Operate imaging equipment including fixed radiology equipment, portable X-ray, C-arm, and CT
Ensure accurate patient positioning and image quality
Maintain strict radiation safety standards for patients and staff
Prepare and educate patients before procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation
Collaborate closely with physicians and clinical teams to support timely diagnosis
Maintain imaging records and documentation according to department policies
Monitor equipment functionality and assist with preventative maintenance
Maintain imaging supplies and support efficient department operations
Participate in the departments on-call rotation for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Licensure and Certifications
Washington State Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist license required
ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist required
ARRT CT certification required
BLS certification required
Experience
Minimum one year of recent clinical experience preferred
New graduates with strong clinical training may also be considered
