Responsible for accurately scanning and digitizing documents, ensuring that all files are properly organized, and maintaining a high level of accuracy. Ability to follow pre-set patterns for document sequencing.
Hours are 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
What you’ll do
This position requires preparing documents for scanning.
Must be able to accurately recognize and sort documents.
The position will perform indexing, the process of assigning keyword values to insure appropriate filing of documents.
Collaborate with system support areas for testing new processes, procedures, and software enhancement.
Responsible for performing quality checks, and accountable for all work performed.
Must have the ability to work individually and collectively to meet departmental standards.
Perform uploading of claim documents and attachments captured by imaging systems to mainframe. Perform daily maintenance on scanning equipment.
Prepare documents for scanning.
Sort and route documents to appropriate departments.
What you need
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Exceptional customer service, organization skills, and time management skills required.
Must have the ability to work independently and collectively.
Ability to adapt to constant change.
Must be adaptable and open to ever changing processes and procedures to ensure that we are meeting the needs of our clients.
Education and Experience:
High school education or equivalent is required.
Previous experience with imaging software preferred. Previous experience working with microfilm preferred.
Requires critical thinking and the ability to adapt to constant change.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
Occasionally requires lifting possibly up to 50 lbs.
Required to operate standard office equipment such as a computer and phone.
Compensation
Non-Exempt Grade 10

The compensation range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive wages that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, and training. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.
