The IM Manager leads the inventory operations execution of the Inventory Management team for a specific brand. They are responsible for collaborating with merchandise planning to ensure the development of complex profitable inventory strategies and partnering with the Global Supply Chain to ensure fulfillment of LS&Co. account demand. The IM Manager will support financial analysis to determine optimum profitability strategies for the inventory flow. These flow strategies are for both replenishment product and seasonal goods.

About the Job

Key Results:

  • Regional Inventory Management Performance: will support fill rates, excess and obsolete, turn, inventory $ and unit positions against plan
  • Supply Chain Performance: will support On-time delivery, air freight budgets, inbound prioritization, on-time PO issuance
  • Will aid in the creation of materials in support of S&OP, Investment Review and OTB meetings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds and manage complex and effective inventory strategies that align with financial objectives of the company
  • Serve as a liaison between merchandise planning, supply planning, and inventory management to build delivery plans
  • Support management of the Open-to-buy process and deliver against annual plans
  • Accountable for resolving issues related to product shipment delays
  • Support in preparation of Regional S&OP
  • Lead, coach and develop team members to ensure performance objectives are achieved and ongoing career development occurs
  • Ensure timely PO issuance
  • Work with Global Supply Chain to define different Inventory optimization initiatives and define requirements
  • Work in close relation with category managers to achieve regional objectives, meet commitments to accounts; analyze confirmed deliveries and challenge Global Supply Chain for better supply/demand match

About You

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 7+ years of experience (preferably apparel)
  • Technical proficiency with computer software tools and the ability to learn new ones quickly (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access applications) and SAP
  • Strong analytical/problem solving capabilities including the ability to quickly identify and communicate implications from consumer, internal and marketplace information
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Ability to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad, diverse group of business partners, mainly the cross-functional team
  • Ability to influence cross-functional partners and reports
  • Written and verbal communication skills
