IL6S Lead – Induri (Pune) Plant

You play an important role in the department, maintaining systems and performing tasks and activities that support our continuous improvement (CI) processes and culture

You help with data collection, ensure its accuracy, promote CI progress and keep track of the department KPI scorecards

How You Will Contribute

  • Provide training on CI tools and techniques; help departments follow our established Daily Management System (DMS)

  • Help teams collect data or extract it from the systemto support CI activities and the DMS

  • Facilitate root-cause analysisto address identified losses and departmental KPI scorecard gaps

  • Establish new work standardsto sustain improvement

  • Train and qualify colleagueson CI tools and new work standards resulting from CI activities

What You Will Bring

  • CI and high-performance work systemsexperience

  • Strong facilitation and communication skillsto support team discussions on CI activities

  • Application of Lean and/or TPM toolsin a factory or operations environment

  • Ability to validate datain manual and automated systems

  • Mastery of Exceland other data analytics tools

  • Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process

  • Logical and structured thinkingto extract insights from data

What This Role Is Really About

  • Driving Manufacturing Excellence / IL6Sas part of day-to-day factory operations

  • Working closely with Plant Leadership, Production, Engineering, Quality, and SCM

  • Improving productivity, efficiency, cost, safety, and qualitythrough structured problem-solving

  • Embedding standard ways of working(daily management, tier meetings, visual management)

  • Building capability and ownership on the shopfloor— not managing improvement from a distance

What Kind of Experience We Are Looking For

  • Strong prior experience in manufacturing/factory operations(production, plant operations, manufacturing, maintenance, or operations leadership roles)

  • Working knowledge and practical exposure to IL6S / Manufacturing Excellence / Lean / TPM / Continuous Improvement

  • Proven ability to drive improvements on the shopfloor, alongside line leaders and operators

  • Backgrounds from FMCG, Pharma, Automotive, Chemicals, or large manufacturing setups

Key Note

We are looking for manufacturing leaders with strong, hands-on factory operations experiencewho have applied or worked with Manufacturing Excellence / IL6S principlesas part of their roles.

Deep plant operations exposure is essential; formal IL6S or Manufacturing Excellence titles are valuable but not mandatory, provided there is a solid understanding and practical applicationof these frameworks on the shopfloor.
