We’re looking for compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Wound Care team at Deaconess Illinois Medical Center. As part of our dedicated care team, you’ll provide safe, patient-centered care while working in a collaborative and supportive environment where your skills truly matter.
The Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with acute and chronic wounds. This includes creating individualized care plans, administering wound care treatments such as dressing changes and debridement, and using advanced therapies like negative pressure wound therapy. The RN will also provide education to patients and their families on proper wound care techniques, collaborate with the healthcare team to monitor progress, and ensure accurate documentation of treatments and outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
** Will be expected to travel to sister facilities if needed. Main facility Deaconess Illinois Medical Center, Sister facilities are the following: Deaconess Illinois Crossroads Hospital, Deaconess Illinois Union County Hospital. **
Required: Certifications/Licenses:
Education:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Professional Nursing
Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois is required. Must possess current card from the American Heart Association for Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers. Wound Care Certification preferred.
ACLS certification preferred within 30 days of employment
Experience:
At least one year previous experience in clinical unit preferred and knowledge of wound related products and procedures.
Compensation:
Hourly Range - $31.25-$46.88
Incentives:
Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
Bonus:
Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
