Schedule & Location

  • Full-Time Position
  • Monday, Tuesday & Friday: Mt. Vernon Clinic | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Wednesday & Thursday: Wayne City Clinic | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Daytime schedule promoting excellent work-life balance

What You'll Do

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a key role in delivering comprehensive primary care services, including:

  • Conducting patient assessments, physical exams, and health screenings
  • Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions
  • Developing individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribing medications and therapies within scope of practice
  • Providing patient education and preventive health counseling
  • Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Promoting wellness and disease prevention initiatives
  • Delivering evidence-based, compassionate care focused on positive patient outcomes

Qualifications

Education

Nurse Practitioner

  • Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Physician Assistant

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Licensure & Certifications

Nurse Practitioner

  • Current Illinois Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
  • Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification

Physician Assistant

  • Current Illinois Physician Assistant license
  • PA-C certification

Required

  • Current CPR/BLS Certification

Preferred

  • ACLS Certification
  • PALS Certification

Experience

  • Previous clinical experience in family practice, primary care, urgent care, or related healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and patient relationship-building skills
