Position Purpose:
The manager is to assist in the overall operation of the department to provide an optimum and cost effective operation of all equipment, buildings, grounds and other hospital property. The manager will also assist with maintaining document review/compliance manuals, scheduling and overseeing system testing and inspections, and will assist with the Emergency Management program to include the planning, preparation, and conducting of Emergency disaster drills and other related tasks.
Education:
Must have high school diploma or equivalent. Associates Degree in a related field preferred. Formal training in Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness preferred (ICS or Incident Command System training, FEMA).
Experience:
At least one year of experience in commercial or industrial maintenance preferred. Desirable characteristics include at least one year experience in electrical or related field. Must be able to function effectively under stress and in Emergency situations and be able to assist in security situations when on duty. Highly encouraged to have experience in Emergency Management planning activities.
Licenses/Certificates:
EPA Universal certification preferred.
Compensation:
Hourly Range: $32.00 - $48.00
Bonus:
Potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to eligibility criteria and achievement of defined metrics. Details regarding bonus eligibility and performance goals will be provided during the interview process or upon hire.
Incentives:
Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
