Performs radiologic/CT procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, CT scans and related quality control monitoring as assigned. Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures. Ensures a high quality of images practicing ALARA standard. Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas. Ensures that all procedures have been appropriately ordered with satisfaction patient identification obtained prior to conducting procedure. Performs all procedures according to departmental protocol. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education:
Evidence of Radiology Technology training from the United States Military or graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Sciences is required.
Experience:
Two (2) years experience in performing CT procedures preferred or equivalent experience as determined by the Director of Radiology.
Licenses/Certificates:
ARRT and IEMA certification is required, CT registry preferred. Must possess current card from the AHA for Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS for healthcare providers upon hire.
Compensation:
Hourly Range - $29.50 - $44.25
Incentives:
Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
