The Role: iGaming 2D Artist

As a 2D Artist, you will be responsible for creating compelling 2D assets and mockups that define the visual identity of slot games. This role requires proven experience within the iGaming industry and the ability to produce both stylized and realistic renders that meet industry standards. You'll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and animators to deliver polished, game-ready visuals for global online markets.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 2D art assets, including symbols, backgrounds, UI, and characters for casino slot games
• Prepare game-context mockups for design and production purposes
• Adapt existing entertainment IP into visually engaging iGaming products
• Produce both stylized and realistic renders depending on project requirements
• Ensure assets meet industry standards for quality, scalability, and performance
• Organize and maintain efficient file structures for team collaboration
• Iterate quickly based on feedback and project requirements
• Collaborate closely with animators, developers, and game designers

About You

• Proven experience as a 2D Artist in the iGaming/online casino industry
• Strong portfolio showcasing casino/slot game art (stylized and realistic)
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and similar tools
• Excellent understanding of composition, color, and visual storytelling
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken)
• Professional and reliable work history (no frequent job changes)
• South African citizen, full-time availability (remote)
• Freelance background may be considered if quality and consistency are proven
