The Immunoglobulin (Ig) business plays a critical role in improving the lives of patients with primary and secondary immunodeficiencies, dermatomyositis, neurological disorders, and other rare diseases. Focused on specialty care and infusion pharmacy, the Ig portfolio delivers life‑saving therapies that require strategic oversight and innovation.
The Director, Ig Marketing – Dermatomyositis Lead will lead end‑to‑end marketing strategy and execution for the Dermatomyositis (DM) indication. This role will report into the Ig HCP and Consumer Team Lead for HCP and consumer marketing for the current brand Octagam and will dotted line report to the Ig Portfolio Marketing Lead for market shaping and launch preparation for the launch of a new DM medication, Dazukibart.
This role will help raise DM awareness and enable earlier, more accurate diagnosis by advancing disease education, clarifying unmet need, and supporting the diagnostic journey. This role will also create the marketing strategic plans to prepare for the successful launch of Dazukibart.
In addition to DM, the Ig Marketing Director will support marketing efforts for another Ig brand (e.g., Panzyga), ensuring portfolio cohesion and strong performance and growth.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Own pre‑launch and launch readiness for Dazukibart, ensuring robust strategy across:
Patient journey and funnel development
Segmentation and targeting
Scientific narrative and value story
Omnichannel engagement strategy
Positioning and Marketing Campaign Development
Lead market shaping strategy for Dermatomyositis, including HCP and Patient Market Research, disease education, unmet need articulation, diagnostic journey optimization, and stakeholder engagement.
Lead Octagam HCP and Consumer marketing efforts, working collaboratively with Ig Marketing Lead, MLR, GCET, IIS, CMO and Agency.
Support marketing efforts for Panzyga, ensuring portfolio cohesion and strong performance and growth
Coordinate efforts and ensure alignment with Ig Marketing Lead
Partner closely with MLR, Market Access, Sales, GCET, and IIS to ensure launch excellence and organizational readiness.
Establish clear success metrics and insight loops to guide decision‑making pre‑ and post‑launch.
Ensure seamless interaction between current Octagam DM performance and future launch planning, protecting performance while building the category.
Lead development and approval of promotional materials, campaigns, and field tools in compliance with GCMA and RC requirements.
Collaborate with field leadership to ensure strong field execution against the portfolio goals and POA excellence. The ideal candidate is a strategic, highly agile marketing leader with proven experience in pre‑launch excellence, rare disease or specialty markets, and cross‑functional leadership, who can translate insights into decisive action and measurable impact.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, science or related field.
10+ years of commercial marketing experience including US Marketing experience
Previous experience leading brands with deep knowledge of marketing discipline and track record of launching and building successful brands in the US market
Strong business acumen with excellent verbal and written communication skills for a wide variety of audiences, includingsenior management
Ability to synthesize scientific, clinical, and market insights into compelling commercial strategy
Strategic cross functional leadership experience
Self-motivated and a team player
Demonstrated experience with both consumer and HCP marketing, creating campaigns and claims, and working collaboratively with MLR
Experience working with creative agencies and providing clear direction
Ability to operate and make sound recommendations in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA Preferred
Brand launch marketing expertise across HCP, payer, and patient marketing with experience applying traditional and innovative levers to grow customer and patient awareness, education, and preference in competitive categories
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $176,600.00 to $294,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
