Job Description


As an IFS Cloud Technical Consultant, you will:

  • Design, develop, and implement technical customizations, configurations, and integrations within IFS Cloud.

  • Analyze business and technical requirements to deliver solutions using IFS tools such as IFS Developer Studio, Custom Events, Lobbies, and Reports.

  • Develop and maintain integrations using IFS Connect, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and related frameworks.

  • Manage data migrations using tools like Data Migration Workbench.

  • Customize and develop reports with IFS Reporting Framework, Crystal Reports, Quick Reports, or other BI tools.

  • Collaborate with functional teams to ensure solutions align with best practices and business needs.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and test documentation.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and production environments.

  • Participate in IFS upgrades, patching, and performance tuning activities.

  • Ensure adherence to development standards, code quality, and provide technical support and training as required.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 4–6 years of hands-on experience as an IFS Technical Consultant, preferably with IFS Applications 10 / IFS Cloud.

  • Strong expertise in IFS Developer Studio, PLSQL, and Custom Objects (Events, Projections, Pages).

  • Proven experience with IFS Connect, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and integration frameworks.

  • Solid understanding of data migration strategies and tools in IFS.

  • Experience in report development using IFS Reporting Framework, Crystal Reports, or other BI tools.

  • Familiarity with configuration and personalization in IFS Cloud.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.

  • Strong documentation skills for technical specifications and user guides.

You should possess the ability to:

  • Deliver high-quality technical solutions tailored to business requirements.

  • Collaborate effectively with functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize technical configurations and integrations.

  • Lead technical activities during upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to end-users and internal teams.
