How You Will Make an Impact:
The I&E Supervisor provides technical leadership to the I&E group and owns the planning, scheduling, and execution of instrumentation and electrical maintenance work. This role builds reliability plans for power systems, directs preventive, predictive, and critical repair activities, and keeps operations running by minimizing downtime while managing costs. The I&E Supervisor partners closely with Engineering, Operations, and Safety on projects and expansions, and ensures the team executes in full compliance with safety management programs and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and day-to-day direction to the I&E group, including work assignments, coaching, and development.
- Schedule and supervise daily and weekly assignments, ensuring repairs and maintenance projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Oversee preventive, predictive, and critical repair activities across instrumentation, electrical, and control systems.
- Develop and maintain reliability plans for power systems, using equipment history and performance data to prioritize work.
- Support Operations to minimize downtime and optimize maintenance costs.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations on safety initiatives and expansion projects, providing I&E input from planning through commissioning.
- Provide guidance and direction to operational personnel to ensure successful I&E applications and compliance with safety management programs and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, work records, and reports as needed.
- Comply with and enforce all Atlas Energy Solutions safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including energy isolation lockout/tagout (LOTO) and permit-to-work practices.

Qualifications
- Required:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 10 years of instrumentation and electrical experience required
- 10 years of leadership or supervisory experience required
- Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, motors, and motor control equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering standards, drawings, and schematics, including electrical, pneumatic, and P&ID drawings
- Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs and reliability planning
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems for scheduling, documentation, and reporting
- Working knowledge of applicable electrical and safety regulatory requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Preferred:
- Technical certificate, associate, or bachelor’s degree in instrumentation, electrical technology, engineering, or a related discipline
- Experience in industrial, mining, manufacturing, energy, or heavy equipment operations
- Journeyman or master electrician license
Work Location & Travel Requirements
- Location: West Texas
- Work Environment: Field, Shop, and Outdoors; industrial plant environment with limited climate control
- Travel %: 50
Schedule/Work Arrangement: Rotational schedule
Physical Demands:
- Regular use of hands to handle, finger, and reach materials, tools, and equipment
- Required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb as needed, including work at elevation and in confined spaces
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and heavier items with appropriate assistance or mechanical equipment
- Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to tolerate conditions associated with field and plant environments, including heat, cold, dust, noise, and limited climate control
