Job Purpose
The MDM Specialist will play a pivotal role in the Enterprise Data Management team, focusing on managing and optimizing Master Data Management (MDM) processes using Informatica Cloud (IDMC). This role requires a seasoned professional who can lead a team, manage stakeholders, and ensure the seamless operation of MDM services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MDM, be certified in ITIL and IDMC MDM, and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Quality Responsibilities:
Read and understand all relevant Quality Management System documents and Operating Procedures relevant to your job role.
Perform duties in a compliant manner and behave in accordance with our Quality Management System requirements to ensure cGMP standards are maintained.

Comply to departmental governance procedures.
Report any issues and risk encountered as per department processes.
Ensure any owned risks are mitigated.
Ensure all owned CAPA’s and actions are completed within the agreed timeframe.
Accountability:
MDM Strategy and Implementation:
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of MDM solutions using Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
Develop and enforce MDM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure data quality and integrity.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of MDM specialists, providing guidance and support to achieve team goals.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure MDM solutions align with business objectives.
Act as the primary point of contact for MDM-related inquiries and issues.
Service Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of MDM services, ensuring high availability and performance.
Implement ITIL best practices to manage incidents, problems, and changes effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance MDM efficiency and effectiveness.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in MDM and Informatica Cloud.
Business challenges:
The success of the Shared Services model requires a strong working relationship between the service analyst and customer to deliver a successful outcome. Ability to build confidence, demonstrate clear communication and listening skills, and have clear customer focus are critical in this role.

Basic Requirements:
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Master Data Management (Product & Customer), with a focus on Informatica Cloud (IDMC).
Proven experience in managing teams and leading MDM projects.
Certifications:
ITIL Certification.
Informatica Cloud (IDMC) MDM Certification.
Skills:
Core MDM SaaS Configurations
Business Entity Modelling i.e. expertise in designing extendible data models including complex hierarchies and relationships
Match & Merge Logic i.e. configuration of match rules, tuning and defining survivorship/trust rules
Data stewardship workflows i.e. designing and implementing governance workflows for reviews and exception handling
Integration & Orchestration
CDI (Cloud data integration) Building high performance ingress/egress jobs using Informatica connections with source and target systems
CAI (Cloud application integration) Building real time, event driven integrations using APIs (REST/SOAP) to sync MDM data with operational systems like SAP or Salesforce
Proficiency in Pyhton, SQL and Java related to IDMC development
IDMC Rest APIs
IDMC CI/D using Source control integration (Git), use of Azure DevOps or GitHub for automation, IDMC rest APIs for checkin/out and pull code, code promotion flow
Informatica transformation language
XQuery functions and usage of them in IDMC
Strong understanding of MDM principles and best practices.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Proficient in stakeholder management and communication.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Ability to speak and write English.
Analytical ability to diagnose problems and to develop practical solutions.
