The Identity & Access Management (IAM) team is seeking a people manager to lead a technical, agile team that supports our access management services during a pivotal transformation period. This role offers a unique chance to shape technical skillsets and cultivate a high-performing team culture in an organization that's modernizing its security infrastructure. The IAM function is evolving. As we migrate to cloud and new Colo data centers, as well as implement zero-trust architecture, we need a leader who can demonstrate technical vision, partner with product and agile professionals, and support people development. This role is part of the Information Security & Policy portfolio within System IT.
Talent Development:
Provides ongoing coaching, mentorship, and constructive feedback to support employee growth and performance. Creates individualized development plans and identifies growth opportunities to expand employee capabilities and support career progression. Builds a strong talent pipeline by identifying and preparing high-potential employees for future leadership roles. Strategy Implementation:
Provides strategic input to drive department results. Develops and communicates a clear strategic vision that aligns with organizational mission and long-term goals. Collaborates across teams and functions to ensure strategic initiatives are integrated and aligned organization-wide. Partners with product managers and delivery partners to ensure direct team is supporting goals aligned with strategic roadmaps and priorities.

Demonstrates advanced written and verbal communication skills, consistently engaging diverse audiences and adapting communication style across various settings and groups to maximize effectiveness. Effectively navigates and manages difficult conversations with confidence and professionalism. Collaborates consistently with peers and senior leadership to identify and implement effective solutions. Partners with leadership across product and delivery teams to discuss, review, and advance IAM strategic roadmap initiatives.
Business Breadth/Depth:
Possesses strong knowledge of the business line's core functions, products, and processes, along with a working understanding of related business areas and their interdependencies. Drives organizational change by leading skill development and workforce planning initiatives within access management and security disciplines. Leverages business knowledge to optimize resource allocation, operational efficiency, and workforce planning within the business line.
Independence and Judgement:
Executes responsibilities independently with limited oversight, proactively taking ownership of assignments. Identifies and addresses problems decisively, taking timely, appropriate action while involving others when needed to leverage diverse talents and skills; makes and influences decisions that drive business results. Weighs risks, benefits, and business impact when making decisions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Applies critical thinking to evaluate options and determine the most effective course of action.
How We Work:
Citizenship Requirements: United States citizenship or lawful permanent resident alien status, with at least three (3) or more years of United States residency from the date of legal entry to the United States is required for this position.
Screening Requirements: This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and could take up to a couple of months to complete. You can begin work before the screening is completed; however, continued employment is contingent on acceptable screening results. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks.
