Rockland Trust is seeking an experienced Identity & Access Management (IAM) Analyst to support and enhance the Bank’s access governance program. This role builds upon foundational IAM responsibilities, with increased ownership in access design, process improvement, and risk mitigation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all responsibilities of the IAM Analyst role with increased autonomy and complexity.
  • Analyze and improve access provisioning workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Lead and coordinate user access reviews, including issue resolution and escalation management.
  • Investigate and remediate access-related incidents, including inappropriate access and segregation of duties (SoD) conflicts.
  • Partner with business units and IT teams to design and implement role-based access controls (RBAC).
  • Support and help optimize IAM tools, including automation of provisioning and certification processes.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of IAM policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Deliver IAM metrics, audit evidence packages, and compliance documentation supporting SOX
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Participate in IAM-related projects, including system implementations and integrations.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen access governance and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience/certification).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IAM, IT security, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of access governance, RBAC, and least privilege principles.
  • Experience handling audits, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex access issues across multiple systems.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and IAM workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Saviynt, or similar).
  • Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., SOX, FFIEC).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or IAM-specific certifications).
