The IDD Intake Assistant serves as the initial point of contact for individuals, families, providers, and community partners seeking IDD services through Pecan Valley Centers. This position is responsible for coordinating intake and referral activities, maintaining accurate documentation and tracking systems, supporting eligibility and assessment processes, providing customer service and community resource information, and ensuring timely communication and follow-up throughout the intake process. The IDD Intake Assistant works closely with Service Coordinators, Eligibility Specialists, providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate access to services and support compliance with program requirements.

Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D., must have a good driving record for the past 3 years and have a valid auto insurance card.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel crouch, squat, lift at least 25 lbs., reach forward and overhead, and sit for an extended period of time.
