"Manages and directs the regional operations needed to sustain high-quality care and services to persons with disabilities. The Regional Administrator is the Administrator for a unit and oversees and Administrator in an additional unit(s). The Regional Administrator sets objectives, monitors performance, and provides direction and leadership to the units within their region. This includes management and oversight of the administrative, clinical, financial, and employee relations functions for the regions. This position implements and enforces compliance with company, state, and federal policy. Relies on knowledge experience and judgment to provide quality services to the people supported. Leads and directs the work of others.
Education, Licensure, and Experience required for the position include: Bachelor’s degree in a human services field, healthcare management or general business/public administration. Graduate degrees in related areas preferred.
Physical requirements to perform essential functions of the job included:
Regular required to lift 20 lbs. Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. Must be able to pull a minimum of 25 lbs. Must be able to squat, kneel, crawl, crouch, climb, and stoop. Must be able to regularly use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. Required to regularly stand and walk. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level requiring to work on hands, knees, bending, standing and lifting. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision. Must be able to talk and hear.

Founded in 1989, RHA began as a small provider of support services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in North Carolina. Over the years, we have expanded to include a broad range of disability services and continue to add other types of services across multiple states to meet our communities’ needs. Today, RHA provides disability services in Georgia, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
