We are seeking a proactive and experienced Inspector to join our team and inspect a variety of assets on the state highway network for the IDC contract with NZTA in the Northland region based out of Kaitaia or Whangārei
Your duties will include essential inspections across pavement and drainage assets, using technology to record and detail inspection information whilst following visual guidelines for identification of defects, deterioration and failure mode analysis
In addition to the above you will:
Plan and undertake inspection routine regime including post event inspection and repair scoping activities
Assist the Operational team with inspections based on routine work and Measure & Value work
Inspect the network in accordance with the inspection programme
Participate in inspection alignment sessions/workshops as required

We’re looking for someone with:
Road maintenance contracts and knowledge of various asset types apply a visual guide for defects, severity and priority for each asset.
The use of Work Manager and Mobile AWM in the field, including using AWM in the office
Meet the relevant skillset or be trained to undertake other inspections.BE or NZCE or significant industry experience (Diploma in engineering or relevant industry)
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Current class 1 drivers licence
