We are currently seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our Markets team from Bucharest

The position of Business Development Manager requires extensive cross-functional cooperation, good communication skills, excellent project management skills, creative skills, and a process-focused mindset that will enable the Business Development Manager to effectively carry out multiple responsibilities and provide multiple deliverables.

The Business Development Manager is responsible for prospecting suitable new clients within Romanian market, identifying and qualifying business opportunities and build business case for Functions to engage projects. He/she is accountable for revenue generated by successfully delivered projects, as growing the market share and value of KPMG services.

What will you do?

  • Actively prospect for new clients
  • Actively engage client portfolio for new projects
  • Monitor changes in market and accounts to spot opportunities
  • Build relationship with prospected accounts to grow trust
  • Proactively propose solutions to prospects and clients based on opportunity or part of an organized campaign
  • Support with professional sales approach and competences proposal pitching and offer preparation
  • Properly document in CRM or other platforms details about accounts, contacts, opportunities and activities
  • Prepare reports aligned with business development activities

What are we looking for?

  • Sales professional with previous business development or account management sales experience (B2B) in working with large companies (top 1000 companies), service sales experience preferred.
  • At least 7 -10 years experience in selling high value services or solutions to top executives.
  • Creative and communicative person, with ability to adapt to fast changes and improvise solutions.
  • Advanced level skills in of office software tools (ex. Microsoft Office suite).
  • Ability to communicate accurately and efficiently in English and Romanian.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to perform multitasking.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
