Job Description

Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family or travel reasons. Founded in 2004, the company’s motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere!

We are currently looking for a Danish Teacher for one of our clients in Edinburgh, United Kingdom.

  • Session length: two-hour
  • Location: FK2 9GD, Edinburgh
  • Student Level: Elementary
  • Student Age Group: C: 25-34
  • Schedule: once per week, (Tuesday afternoons (13.00 onwards) - every other Tuesday during May (5th/19th) and then every Tuesday from June onwards. Sunday at anytime Monday evenings (18.00 onwards) on See above)
  • Start Date: 2026-05-05
  • Motivation: My partner is Danish and I hope to relocate to Denmark for work in the future. I am currently certified to level A2 Danish and speak occasionally at home with my partner, but would like to increase my proficiency

Ideal Candidate

  • Be a native Danish speaker and/or hold a relevant teaching qualification
  • Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter
  • Have a valid work permit/visa
  • Live within 20 miles of the specified location

Conditions

  • Schedule and location may be flexible based on availability
  • Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
  • Freelance, part-time position
  • We are not able to sponsor visas
