Critical care nurses play an essential role in rural hospitals.
Rural Staffing Services is partnering with Jefferson Healthcare to recruit an ICU Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while supporting the health of a coastal community.
In a rural setting, ICU nurses are trusted clinical leaders. You will care for patients with complex medical needs while working closely with a collaborative care team that values compassion, teamwork, and patient-centered outcomes.
Jefferson Healthcare is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Port Townsend, Washington, serving residents across Jefferson County and the surrounding Olympic Peninsula communities.

Critical care nurses are essential to the strength of rural hospitals.
The ICU Registered Nurse plays a key role in delivering individualized care to patients with complex conditions while supporting families during critical moments.
Your clinical expertise, attention to detail, and compassionate approach help ensure patients receive the highest quality care when they need it most.
Provide individualized patient care using the nursing process
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the ICU setting
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
Guide and support clinical support staff
Monitor patient conditions and respond to critical changes
Ensure patient-centered outcomes through coordinated care
Support a collaborative and respectful team environment
Strong clinical judgment and critical care experience
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Commitment to compassionate patient-centered care
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A desire to serve rural communities
Required
Current Washington State RN license in good standing
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Additional
NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire
One year ICU experience preferred
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Hourly Pay
$41.43 – $75.65 per hour depending on experience
