Role: ICT Systems Analyst

Location: Murarrie, Brisbane, QLD

Our Role:

As an ICT Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery and optimisation of ServiceNow ITSM solutions across Goodstart.

Working closely with the Senior Business Analyst, project teams and stakeholders, you will analyse business and technical requirements, develop detailed specifications, and contribute to the successful implementation of technology solutions aligned with organisational priorities.

You’ll work across a collaborative ICT and PMO environment, supporting the design and rollout of ServiceNow ITSM functionality and integrations that enhance service delivery and align with ITIL best practices.

This role offers the opportunity to influence process improvement, contribute to enterprise technology initiatives, and support a more efficient and scalable ICT environment.

Your Impact:

  • Analyse business and technical requirements to develop clear and detailed technical specifications
  • Support the design, configuration and rollout of ServiceNow ITSM solutions and associated integrations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure solutions align with business priorities and ITIL processes
  • Review functional requirements and assess alignment to standard ServiceNow functionality
  • Recommend solution approaches that maximise out-of-the-box functionality and minimise customisation
  • Facilitate workshops and engage with stakeholders across business and technology teams
  • Investigate system and design issues and contribute to practical, scalable solution outcomes
  • Assist with functional and integration testing and support validation of implemented solutions
  • Develop key project artefacts including technical specifications, configuration workbooks and standard operating procedures
  • Support continuous improvement across ICT processes, systems and service delivery practices

You’ll bring to the table:

  • Degree qualification in Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience working as a Systems Analyst, Business Analyst or within ICT project delivery environments
  • Experience working with ServiceNow including ITSM processes and workflows ( Essential)
  • Understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, Request and Problem Management
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into functional or technical specifications
  • Exposure to SaaS platforms, integrations and modern technology environments
  • Experience supporting technology delivery frameworks such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with a proactive and collaborative mindset
  • Experience with tools such as Microsoft Teams, Visio, Monday.com or Azure DevOps will be highly regarded
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
