Reporting to the Corporate IT Infrastructure Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the local IT infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with other teams to provide technical expertise, enable smooth system integration, and support local and global IT initiatives.

Main Responsibilities

1) IT Support:

  • Provide first-line support for all local IT systems, devices, and infrastructure (e.g., servers, laptops, mobile devices, laboratory equipment).

2) Infrastructure Management & Security:

  • Manage, monitor, and support local IT infrastructure, including servers, networking, and virtualized environments, ensuring they align with corporate architecture and cybersecurity standards.
  • Apply security updates, system patches, and remediation measures to address vulnerabilities and maintain compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies.
  • Ensure that backup processes are executed properly and regularly test data restoration to meet both operational and regulatory requirements.

3) System Deployment & Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with the corporate IT team to implement new systems, upgrades, and corporate-driven digital initiatives at the local level.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of IT support experience, preferably within large multinational companies.
  • A degree or diploma in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering).
  • Professional certifications in IT or Infrastructure Management (e.g., Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA) are highly desirable.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Proficient in IT infrastructure technologies: LAN, VLAN, Wi-Fi networking, and Windows Client/Server operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as:
    • Microsoft: Active Directory & Office 365
    • Cisco: Networking and basic switch configuration commands
    • VMware: Virtualized environments
    • Veeam: Backup and disaster recovery solutions
    • Network-attached storage (NAS) systems
    • iPhone smartphones and related peripherals.
  • Ability to set up, troubleshoot, and maintain computers, mobile devices, video conferencing systems, and other technical equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interface both local departments and global corporate IT.
  • Proven ability to work in an international, multicultural, and cross-disciplinary environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders and assist users with varying technical proficiency.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a track record of managing multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying needs, proposing solutions, and anticipating potential challenges to ensure seamless IT operations and project execution.
  • Professional working proficiency in English.
