The ICT Skills Assessor - AI evaluates ICT qualifications, skills and professional experience against ACS frameworks and relevant government requirements in AI. The role maintains complete case records, escalates integrity and non-conformance concerns, and applies specialist AI insight to strengthen assessment quality, applicant understanding and confidence in ACS. The role plays an important part of how ACS shapes the digital future of Australia.
As an ACS Skills Assessor - AI, you will be accountable for accurate, timely and defensible decisions. Apply standards fairly, document decisions clearly and escalate concerns early. Sharing knowledge, welcoming challenges and using feedback to strengthen consistent practice is at the core of how this role Aims High. You will also apply evidence and specialist insight to improve assessment quality and applicant understanding, identify the appropriate membership level and connect candidates with Member Services, relevant microcredentials and professional pathways for the continued growth of the professionalism of the technology industry.
This role is a maximum 2 year contract.
You are an analytical and collaborative ICT professional who works effectively across teams and with stakeholders to deliver high-quality assessments. You bring curiosity and initiative to problem-solving, identifying practical improvements and using feedback to strengthen assessment quality, consistency and the applicant experience. You thrive in complex environments, apply sound professional judgement and understand that how you work with colleagues and applicants is as important as your technical expertise.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
When it comes to training and research we partner with the very best. Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
