About the role | Mō te tūranga mahi

As ACC's ICT Senior Commercial Relationship Manager, you will lead the commercial management of strategic ICT supplier partnerships that support the delivery of critical technology and business outcomes. Working across complex ICT portfolios, you will partner closely with Technology & Data, Enterprise Procurement, and senior business stakeholders to maximise value, manage commercial risk, and strengthen supplier performance. This is an opportunity to influence commercial strategy, provide market insights, and contribute to keeping Kiwis safe at work, at home, and everywhere in between.

While applications from locations outside Wellington will be considered, Wellington is the preferred location for this role.

The appointing salary for this role is $126,101 to $151,045 based on experience. ACC offers a comprehensive benefits package which at present includes an advantageous superannuation scheme (9% contribution) with features like no mandatory employee contribution, optional life and income protection insurance.

About you | Mōu

You will bring:

  • Significant experience managing end-to-end ICT contract lifecycles, including software, licensing, and service agreements.
  • Experience operating within a large and complex ICT or technology environment.
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and strategic suppliers.
  • Strong commercial negotiation, contract management, and supplier governance capability.
  • Knowledge and proven application of procurement, sourcing, and commercial risk management principles and best practice.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Strong business acumen, sound judgement, and a solution-focused mindset.
  • Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and proven experience with ICT contractual terms, legislative requirements, and regulatory obligations.
  • A credit check is required as part of the pre-employment screening process.
