About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level ICT Network Expert with strong expertise in enterprise networking and security technologies to support a large-scale IT Operations environment within the public sector.

In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, maintenance, optimization, and security of enterprise network infrastructure, with a primary focus on F5 Big IP ADC and Palo Alto firewall technologies. You will work within a multidisciplinary IT Operations team managing Linux systems, network infrastructure, and storage platforms.

Key Responsibilities


  • Configure, upgrade, maintain, and optimize F5 Big IP ADC environments

  • Configure and manage Palo Alto firewall infrastructures in enterprise environments

  • Support day-to-day operational management including monitoring, incident resolution, and backup follow-up

  • Design and implement infrastructure improvements, migrations, and new network solutions

  • Assist in maintaining secure and high-performing enterprise network environments

  • Collaborate with internal teams on network architecture and operational improvements

  • Analyze logs and NetFlow data to improve security configurations and performance

  • Contribute to automation and configuration management initiatives

  • Document technical procedures and infrastructure changes

Required Skills & Experience


  • Minimum 3 years of experience with:

    • F5 Big IP in enterprise environments

    • Palo Alto firewalls in enterprise environments

  • Experience with enterprise networking technologies and infrastructure operations

  • Dutch language proficiency at CEFR C2 level

  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within technical teams

Nice to Have


  • Experience with Cisco ACI datacenter networking

  • Experience with Ansible configuration management

  • Linux scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, Perl)

  • Linux system administration experience

  • Experience with NetApp AFF, HPE Alletra 9000, or HPE StoreOnce

  • Experience analyzing logs and NetFlow data

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or related technical field
