ICT Expert (Medior) – Oracle APEX Developer

Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid)
Contract Duration: 1 July 2026 – 31 July 2026
Workload: Full-time (100%)
Remote Work: Hybrid (Minimum 1 day per week on-site)

About the Role

We are seeking a Medior ICT Expert with strong expertise in Oracle and Oracle APEX to support the ongoing development and maintenance of an established online platform used for infrastructure cost estimation and pricing.

The platform provides project managers, engineers, and site supervisors with access to pricing databases and a range of tools used to estimate investment costs for infrastructure projects. As part of a collaborative technical team, you will contribute to the enhancement, support, and optimization of this business-critical solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications built with Oracle APEX
• Work with Oracle databases to support application functionality and data integrity.
• Design and generate reports and documents using APEX Office Print
• Collaborate with developers, database specialists, testers, and project coordinators.
• Support the ongoing evolution and maintenance of the platform.
• Participate in troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Must-Have

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Oracle APEX or similar technologies.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Oracle APEX.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with APEX Office Print.
• Experience working within public sector environments.
• Fluent Dutch language skills ( CEFR C2 level).

Nice to Have

• Experience working with the MEDIAAN platform or similar enterprise platforms.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

Team & Technical Environment

You will be joining a multidisciplinary team consisting of:

• A Project Coordinator
• A Database Specialist
• An Oracle APEX Developer
• A Test Specialist
• A Data Quality Assurance Specialist

The platform is built on an Oracle Database foundation, with applications developed using Oracle Application Express (APEX) and reporting capabilities powered by APEX Office Print

This role is ideal for an Oracle APEX professional who enjoys working on enterprise applications that support large-scale infrastructure initiatives.
