About the Role

We are looking for a Medior ICT Network Expert with strong experience in F5 Application Delivery Controllers and Palo Alto firewalls to support enterprise IT operations. You will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and evolving critical network and security infrastructure in a complex environment.

This role combines hands-on operational support with the design and implementation of new systems and improvements, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across the network landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Configure, manage, and optimize F5 Big-IP (ADC) and Palo Alto firewalls in an enterprise environment
• 
  Perform upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure
• 
  Monitor systems, follow up on backups, and resolve incidents
• 
  Design and implement network changes, new systems, and decommission legacy environments
• 
  Analyze logs and NetFlow data to improve security configurations
• 
  Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams (Linux, storage, operations)
• 
  Contribute to continuous improvement of network performance and security
• 
  Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 
  Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with F5 Big-IP (ADC) in enterprise environments
• 
  Minimum 3 years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls
• 
  Strong understanding of enterprise networking and security principles
• 
  Experience with similar network technologies and environments
• 
  Dutch language proficiency (CEFR level C2 – mandatory)

Nice to Have

• 
  Experience with Cisco ACI (data center networking)
• 
  Knowledge of Ansible for configuration management
• 
  Linux scripting experience (Bash, Python, Perl)
• 
  Experience in Linux system administration
• 
  Experience with log analysis and NetFlow data
• 
  Familiarity with enterprise storage systems (NetApp, HPE Alletra, StoreOnce)
• 
  Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
