Job Brief:

Responsible for managing the communications, workstations, and servers of the network. He /She makes sure all software is licensed and updated to meet the needs. Plan, direct and lead the development, operations and maintenance of the ICT resources and infrastructure of a large organization and lead the delivery of its ICT programs and projects. Developing and implementing the Departments ICT policies and ICT strategic plan.

Major Accountabilities

• Provide business technology vision and leadership in the development and implementation of the hospital-wide business technologies and programs.
• Lead the healthcare network in planning and implementing enterprise technological infrastructures, information systems, planning and development and enterprise performance solutions services to support both distributed and centralized clinical and business operations and achieve more effective and cost beneficial enterprise-wide business technologies operations.
• Plans, develops, evaluates and manages ICT systems.
• Evaluates alternatives, performs appropriate cost-benefit analysis and recommends solutions that maximizes effectiveness and minimizes costs commensurate with acceptable risks.
• Assume overall responsibility for the development, maintenance, and effective management of all levels of information and communications technology resources of the organization.
• Provide effective leadership and management of the ICT team.

• Ensure a stable and secure infrastructure for the organizations ICT network, ensuring the highest level of network operation and availability.
• Ensure the development of the highest network security.
• Continuously review and assess the organizations ICT infrastructure to ensure best practice design and functionality, including managing plans for medium to long-term network structures, both hardware and software.
• Consistently monitor and liaise to ensure user accessibility as appropriate to relevant software and database information systems.
• Review and continuously improve technical functions and information flows to ensure a continually high level of School and departmental efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of technology related projects.
• Work with relevant staff to ensure software and database programs are integrated and appropriately utilized as efficiently and effectively as possible.
• Assist all areas in finding relevant technical solutions to operational needs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science or other relevant field
• +5 years of experience in ICT
• +7 years of experience preferably in healthcare industry
• Masters degree is a plus
• Preferred Saudi National
