The Role

We are seeking an experienced ICT & Cyber Security Assessment and Authorisation Specialist to support security assessment activities within a secure Defence environment. Working closely with project
teams and stakeholders, you will assess system security posture, provide
trusted security advice, and contribute to the successful authorisation of
critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct security assessments and support the Assessment and Authorisation process.
  • Review security documentation and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
  • Assess systems against DSPF, ISM and Australian Government security standards.
  • Identify security risks, vulnerabilities and security control improvements.
  • Prepare security assessment reports, briefs and recommendations for stakeholders.

About You

  • Hold a current NV1 Security Clearance.
  • Experience conducting ICT or cyber security assessments within Defence or Government environments.
  • Strong knowledge of DSPF, ISM and security risk management frameworks.
  • Ability to analyse technical documentation and assess security compliance.
  • Strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
