Kick-start your career in a global Internal Controls environment and support the Global ICS, CREST Quality & Audit team in maintaining and improving the quality of the Internal Control System (ICS).

As an ICS Quality Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in data preparation, quality checks, reporting and continuous improvement. Furthermore, you also have the chance to work with tools such as iCON, Power BI, Microsoft Excel, Copilot Premium and Microsoft Word while collaborating with international stakeholders.

Eligibility Criteria

This internship is part of a local scheme with universities in Germany. The main eligibility criterion is to be actively enrolled in a university program throughout the entire duration of the internship. You will be required to provide documentation such as your ID, student visa, and enrolment certificate as part of the eligibility verification process.

Your key accountabilities include:

  • Supporting quality reviews of country and business-unit ICS localizations and documenting the results.
  • Preparing and consolidating recurring ICS reports, including data validation and follow-up of identified inconsistencies.
  • Maintaining, improving and documenting existing Power BI dashboards and supporting data files.
  • Supporting the preparation and coordination of the monthly ICS Forum, including presentation materials and minuting for action tracking.
  • Assisting with data collection from regional and functional stakeholders, ensuring completeness and plausibility checks.
  • Analysing recurring findings and trends to help derive practical recommendations, examples and best practices.
  • Maintaining clear working documentation, trackers and process instructions in line with agreed standards.
  • Supporting ICS quality assurance and continuous improvement activities across the function.
  • Collaborating with regional, country and global stakeholders to support reporting, quality and audit activities.
  • Delivering assigned analyses, reporting support and documentation accurately and on time under the guidance of the Global ICS, CREST Quality & Audit team.

What are we looking for from you?

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Analytics or a comparable field.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; initial Power BI knowledge is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and a structured approach to data quality.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with confidence working with international stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, organize assigned tasks and follow through on agreed actions.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Interest in Internal Control Systems, finance processes, audit, risk management or data analytics.
  • Eager to gain practical experience in a global finance and Internal Controls environment.
