Job Title- ICG India Macro sales, VP

Location- Mumbai, India

Role Description

  • The Institutional client group (ICG) business in India (Mumbai) is looking for a candidate to drive the Fixed Income, currency & derivatives (FIC) flows across institutional clients with emphasis on growing the derivative business (both hedging and asset-side).
  • The candidate will focus on the FIC business including execution of client trades across foreign exchange, fixed income and derivatives and origination of new business opportunities. The candidate will work with the team to meet agreed sales and revenue targets and cultivate client relationships to generate sales opportunities.
  • The candidate is also expected to focus on active client coverage with existing clients, foster new client opportunities across Banks and Non-Banking Financial Institutions (e.g. Housing Financing Companies, Wealth Managers) and build the necessary working relationship with other product partners, trading, research, client service, and operations staff.
  • This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn and work on global market products and be a part of the coverage team for these products. Deutsche Bank India is an active participant in global markets and a market leader in few products.

Your key responsibilities

  • Part of the FIC business where Deutsche Bank is an active participant
  • Handle client execution of global market products including foreign exchange, fixed income, and derivatives
  • Originate, develop and foster client relationships and work closely with the team to grow the business with special focus on derivative business (both hedging and asset-side)

Your skills and experience

  • Basic understanding of global market products including foreign exchange, fixed income and derivatives
  • Client service or coverage experience preferred
  • Relevant academic credentials preferred

Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
